Evening Walks

The summer months, when there are no club meetings, can drag on a bit.  To combat this, we have introduced Evening Walks.  We meet up at the end of every month, at our Community Center venue, and wander round local places of interest, taking pictures.

Our first such outing, on May 31st, attracted a good selection of club members.  We explored parts of Llandudno town centre, and the North and West shore beaches.  The latter gave us some great sunset pictures.  New members had the opportunity of learning about photography from the older members, and a good time was had by all.

Our second outing, on June 28th, was to Haulfre Gardens, by the Great Orme.  A good crowd turned up, plus one dog!

Our third outing, on July 26th, was down the Green Magpie Walk, on Nant Y Gamar.  Most of the usual suspects turned up.

Our final outing before the start of the new season, was to the Conwy R.S.P.B. Reserve, Llandudno Junction, on Sunday August 20th.   Newer club members picked up a few tips from the older members.  One 70 year old saw his first Kingfisher!

Here are a couple of shots taken on the day.
